St. Pete’s Salvador Dalí Museum is now among the many museums around the country offering $3 admission—plus free parking—for low-income families thanks to the Museums for All program. With a SNAP Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card, up to four people can get advanced, timed tickets to The Dalí (children five and under are free).
“The program is an opportunity to broaden the Museum’s visitor base and reach out to underserved communities,” executive director Dr. Hank Hine stated in a release.
Museums for All offers underserved communities free to $3 admission to 700 institutions across the United States, through the Institute of Museum and Library Services and Association of Children’s Museums.
Other Tampa Bay museums which are part of the Museum For All program include:
- Florida Holocaust Museum
- Florida Museum of Photographic Arts
- Glazer Children’s Museum
- Great Exploration Children’s Museum
- The James Museum of Western and Wildlife Art
- Morean Arts Center
- Museum of Science and Industry

The Dalí also celebrates its 40th anniversary with $19.82 admission for all Hillsborough and Pinellas residents through Jan. 28 (that’s a 31% discount if you’re keeping score).
