ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — St. Petersburg police said a woman died early Sunday morning after she was dropped off at the emergency room with multiple gunshot wounds.

Police said Tytaquisha Pearson, 25, was left at the hospital Sunday around 1:30 a.m. Hours later, she died from her injuries.

Authorities said the suspected shooter, 25-year-old Jerrell Sha’ron Hall, was arrested later in the day on an unrelated charge. Hall was charged with first-degree murder and brought to Pinellas County to face his charges.

The incident happened after a fight between the Hall and Pearson, according to police.

Police said Hall and Pearson were known to each other.
