St. Pete Brewing Introduces Kitchen, Event Space
Downtown craft brewery St. Pete Brewing Company has expanded its space with a full kitchen and event space, I Love the Burg reported. Menu items include build-your-own pizzas, pretzel bites, chicken wings and charcuterie boards.
P.F. Chang’s To Go Concept Opening In St. Petersburg
P.F. Chang’s is bringing its takeout-only concept, P.F. Chang’s To Go, to St. Petersburg. Though there aren’t many details available yet, a spokesperson for the company told Patch that the St. Pete location will open late summer 2023. Only takeout and catering orders will be available at this site.
Half-Baked Potato Adjusts Menu For Inflation
The owner of St. Petersburg’s Half-Baked Potato told Bay News 9 that he had to switch up his menu because of inflation. He’s removed lobster mac-and-cheese and other menu items because of rising costs.
“Meat prices are going up a lot, so we’re actually having to reduce the amount of items we sell brisket on,” James Castetter said. “We’re really thinking about taking it off and replacing it with something else.”
The cost of potatoes has increased as well, from about $1 a spud to $1.75 each.
Karma Juice Bar & Eatery Leaving St. Pete’s Edge District Aug. 1
Karma Juice Bar & Eatery is permanently shutting the doors of its Edge District space at 1113 Central Ave. starting Aug. 1. The healthy eatery has already opened its new location at 1804 4th Street N. in recent weeks and has plans to open a second spot on Beach Drive, according to a flyer distributed at the restaurant.
Craft Brewery Opening In Pinellas Park
Pee-Pa’s Garage, a 4,000-square-foot brewpub, is opening in Pinellas Park at 6340 49th Street N. in early August. The owners converted an old body shop into a brewery. The grand opening will take place Aug. 4, 3 to 10 p.m., and feature food trucks and live music, the brewery shared on its Facebook page.
