ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A bullet hit a 12-year-old girl Saturday night during a shooting at Childs Park Recreation and Fitness Center , St. Pete police said.
According to police, an officer on patrol nearby saw several minors run from 4301 13th Ave. S., St. Petersburg just before 9:35 p.m. when the shooting occurred.
The girl did not have life-threatening injuries, police said.

Police have not arrested anyone involved in the shooting, a St. Petersburg police news release said.
No other information has been released by police.
