ST. PETERSBURG, FL — P.F. Chang’s is bringing its takeout-only concept, P.F. Chang’s To Go, to St. Petersburg.
Though there aren’t many details available yet, a spokesperson for the company told Patch that the St. Pete location will open late summer 2023. Only takeout and catering orders will be available at this site.
The new eatery will open in the Shoppes at the Royale at 1550 66th Street N., where Rib City was previously located, the company said.
P.F. Chang’s has more than 300 restaurants in 22 countries and U.S. airport locations, the brand said in a news release.

The first P.F. Chang’s To Go, featuring the restaurant’s most popular items, opened in Chicago in 2020. The concept was launched as a way for the brand to move into new metro areas where it doesn’t already have a presence and tap into markets where real estate is more expensive, according to CNN.
There are currently 16 P.F. Chang’s To Go locations in five states — Colorado, Florida, Illinois, New York and Texas — and Washington, D.C. Another nine are planned to open soon in these areas.
In Florida, the five P.F. Chang’s To Go are in Jacksonville, Lake Mary, Lake Nona, Miami Lakes and Winter Garden.
In addition to St. Petersburg, the company plans to bring the concept to Orlando and Boynton Beach soon.
