ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — A 30-year-old man has died after he was hospitalized Saturday afternoon following a shooting in St. Petersburg.
Police say the incident happened shortly after 1 p.m. near Freemont Terrance South and 32nd Street.
The man, later identified as Tedarrell Davenport, was was shot and taken to a local hospital with critical injuries, according to police.
The St. Petersburg Police Department says officers have not identified or arrested the shooter.
The shooting is now being investigated as a homicide.
