TREASURE ISLAND, FL — The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said it has located the pickup truck used in a hit-and-run accident that killed a woman crossing Gulf Boulevard in Treasure Island.
According to the sheriff’s office, on Tuesday around 7:45 p.m., 46-year-old Felicia White was walking in a marked crosswalk on Gulf Boulevard, crossing 108th Avenue North, when she was struck by a dark blue pickup truck traveling south on Gulf Boulevard.
Investigators said the truck had entered the left turn lane to head east on 108th Avenue North when it struck White and then fled the scene.

White was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies have been searching for the vehicle described by witnesses as a dark blue 2016 to 2018 Chevrolet Silverado regular cab work truck, and said Thursday that they believe they have found it.
