ST. PETE BEACH, FL — A 45-year-old motorcyclist has died following a crash early Sunday morning in St. Pete Beach.

According to Pinellas County sheriff’s deputies, 57-year-old Kenan Rader was driving a Ford pickup truck north and Eric Babb was heading south on Gulf Boulevard on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Deputies said Rader was making a left turn into a parking lot when the two collided. Witnesses say Babb was traveling at a high speed before the crash.

He was taken to the Palms of Pasadena Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
