The 1,700 square foot sub shop will feature a menu of seven sandwiches. At the Historic Kenwood location, one of the best sellers is the Spicy Italian, which includes pepperoni, hot capocollo, ham, provolone, hot peppers, onion, lettuce, and tomato on a fresh hoagie roll.
Another popular sub is The Big Beach with ham, turkey, roast beef, onion, lettuce, and tomato.
Customers can also create their own sub. Choose a protein (or two) and pile on an unlimited amount of toppings. Tell the staff to “run it through the garden” to add lettuce, spinach, cucumber, onion, tomato, banana peppers, hot peppers, sweet peppers, pickles, artichoke, and avocado.
Finally, top your sub with one of Gateway’s twelve flavorful sauces, such as Spicy Ranch, Hot Buffalo, Honey Mustard, Horseradish Aioli, and Thousand Island.
All subs will be served on fresh bread from Cusanos Bakery out of Boca Raton. The family-owned breadmaker has been in business for over 50 years.
