ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A shooting killed a 19-year-old in St. Petersburg early Monday near Fourth Street North, St. Pete police said.

Trent Krystoff, the victim, was found outside in the 400 block of 50th Avenue North with gunshot wounds just after 12:30 a.m. Medical staff pronounced him dead after he arrived at a local hospital, officers said.

Police do not have the person who shot him in custody. No other information has been released.
