A deceased person was found in a St. Petersburg roadway, according to a news release from the St. Petersburg Police Department, sent out at 8:05 a.m. Sunday.
Police have closed a portion of First Avenue S, from 73rd Street S to Park Street S, while an investigation is underway.
No other information was made available Sunday.
